Today, a brief list of our previous work on Turkish - Armenian relations and the Armenian Genocide. In addition to
an article in Al Jazeera America, we have several maps of the now vanished town of
Hadjin with a brief article by Chris Gratien, as well as several
British maps of the 1894 Armenian massacres. Last spring I wrote about
treasure maps and historical memory in southeastern Turkey, and did my best to review two excellent books by Ugur Umit Ungor and Ryan Gingeras, among others,
in the journal Nationalities Papers. Finally, our
very first post featured a remarkable map made by Muslim victims of ethnic cleansing in the Balkans.
